Potaytoe, pohtahtoe

Either way, they're about to have flowers on them.

This makes me happy in a way that is entirely childish. I can't wait to find out what a potato flower looks like...

Oh my! Potatoeflowers already??? When did you plant them? It's still so cold here (10C/50F on an average)it hasn't been possible to plant anything...hopefully this coming week it will warm up a bit...

My hanging basket tomatoes are doing so well that I'm thinking about trying the Bushel basket potatoes next year just for fuin - need a yard, very much need a yard.

They are beautiful!! I just got my seed potatoes in the mail today. Snowden, Viking Blue (or something like that), Camden...oh the yumminess we shall enjoy!! Now to find some time to slip them in the ground this week, yes that is what I need. I can ignore the zillion bits of grass trying to send up shoots which I will have to dig up in the 4th bed, if I can get these lovelies in the dirt this week.
